We develop and introduce new formulations with our clients. Most work begins the same way: a client brings a novel idea or market need, and we work to develop the formulation. These are some of the domains in which we work.

Fluorescent diagnostics and UV leak detection

Formulated for compatibility across refrigerant and oil types, with dosing concentrations calibrated to the system rather than to the dye.

Internal sealants

Non-polymer, non-crystallizing formulations injected into the HVAC/R system to seal micro leaks; our sealants stay in service for the life of the equipment without clogging capillaries or expansion valves.

External sealants

Applied at joints and connections, sealing without hardening or crystallizing; connections stay serviceable and can be broken and remade later.

Assembly gels

Gel-type formulations where handling, placement, and cure behavior matter as much as the chemistry.

Flush and cleaning formulations

Designed for refrigeration and air-conditioning systems and components. Tested to ASHRAE 97 standards.

Coil and evaporator cleaners

Used in air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.

Oil and lubricant-related additives

Formulated across a wide range of viscosities for the lubrication demands of mechanical and electrical compressors in service applications.

Specialty chemistry and customer-specific formulations

Developed for requirements that do not fit an existing category.

What we engineer for

The targets that decide whether a formulation works.

Within any of these areas, we develop to specific targets that decide whether a formulation works in the client's system. These fall into four groups:

Chemistry and compatibility

Fit to the application taking account base fluid selections, concentration targets, application environment and fluorescence behavior.

Physical performance

Viscosity, compatibility, evaporation rate, temperature exposure, shelf-life objectives, and application-specific performance targets.

Form, handling, and packaging

Liquid, gel, paste, and non-liquid formats; application and system injection requirements; and packaging format.

Trade and documentation

Export classification considerations, labeling, and documentation needs.

Our capabilities extend beyond HVAC/R and automotive into specialty service chemical applications where formulation, packaging, documentation, and international supply matter.
